Silicone Suction TroubleshootingUpdated a day ago

We have some great tips and tricks for getting the best 'stick' with your silicone suction dinnerware.

The first thing to check is the surface this is being used on. These work best on smooth, flat, plastic surfaces - textured or wood surfaces won't stick well. It is also important to ensure both the surface and suction base are clean, dry and free from any food grease.

Place the dish on the surface and press down firmly in the center (this helps remove trapped air). You can also rub a very small amount of water around the suction base to help give this more suction power.

Alternatively, some surfaces need a bit more help to get these to stick and the best way to get a secure suction on these is to take the stainless steel dish out and place the silicone section separately first. Press this down firmly in the middle then once stuck, you can then pop the stainless steel dish back in place.
